LOOKING TO PURCHASE OR TRANSFER A FIREARM?:

• Valid Form of I.D: All firearm purchases & transfers require identification with the customer’s current address. A U.S. Passport can be combined with a vehicle registration card. The I.D. presented can not be expired or have a hole punch, and must be legible. If you have a different address, please acquire a sticker from DMV.

• Age Requirements: For rifles, you must be 18+ years old. For handguns, you must be 21+ years old.

• Residency Requirement: For handguns, you must be an Oregon Resident. For rifles, you must reside in select states.

• We only accept cash for firearm transactions - no exceptions

• If you are purchasing or redeeming a firearm, you must be able to pass a criminal background check. There is an extra $10 fee for the background check (non-refundable) that is collected before starting the paperwork

• If you are having a firearm transferred, the fee is $40 (that includes the background check) and $5 per additional firearm

• All transfers must be done by a Federal Firearms Licensee, we do NOT process private/person to person transfers (example: If you purchase a firearm online from a Federal Firearms Licensee we can process the transfer, but if you are wanting to sell a firearm of your own to another person we can NOT process that type of transfer for you and suggest calling the local Police Bureau to seek guidance from there.)
